Ownership & Listing Claims
Claim authority without rewriting the original record.
Review draft. This document has not been adopted as binding terms and is not legal advice.
Authority
A seller or dealer claiming a record must show appropriate authority. Identity, ownership, inventory control and manufacturer authorization are distinct questions. Do not send sensitive proof through an unsecured general field.
History
Keep the original source observation, claim date, claimant, verification method and seller-provided changes as separate records. A claim does not convert previous source claims into verified facts or erase earlier asking prices.
Disputes
Conflicting claims go to review. A neutral restriction may be applied while evidence is evaluated. Provide reasons and an appeal route where appropriate; do not infer criminal conduct from a conflict.
Items for counsel and operator review
Approve ownership evidence, claimant verification, reviewer authority and correction process.
